At Lajatico kicks off the 14th edition of the Teatro del Silenzio, the exclusive event in the province of Pisa, the birthplace of master Andrea Bocelli, who will hold two concert-events in this unique place in the evenings of 25 and 27 July.
The Teatro del Silenzio is an amphitheater created by exploiting the natural conformation of a hill near Lajatico, it was inaugurated in 2006 by the master Bocelli himself.
I see this earth, I feel it press under my feet.
It's my land. It is a land that loves silence, as I love it.
And if I break this silence with my voice I do it to pay homage to these places and to my people.
The music penetrates the earth, runs through it and flies very far.
